ISABEL MUÑOZ AND HER WORLD’S CHILDREN

Not long ago in these pages, I expressed my doubts over the processing of the Spanish minister Elena Salgado’s photos taken by Isabel Muñoz’s and its postproduction in Photoshop . These images were published in El Pais Semanal.
On this occasion I want to express my admiration for the wonderful work done by Isabel who spent six months photographing the children of the world. She was commissioned by UNICEF and her work was published in el País Semanal on Sunday 15 November. I’d like to stress the great technical work using flash mixed with ambient light, the staging, and the impeccable David López’s post-production. The Catalans will have the privilege of seeing the exhibition at Barcelona’s Caixa Forum this spring and the Castilians at the Caixa Forum in Madrid in autumn 2010. It will be an exhibition that should not be missed.
